I'd love to have a playable electric with the horseshoe pickup. I have the 30s Electrospanish, but that doesn't have real frets so it doesn't play great. I've looked and never seen one of the original 850s in the flesh.

Harmony Archtone acoustic with f holes made in 1962 for beginning jazzers. $60 at a yard sale.

Vantage with 3 lipstick pickups but wood body. Won it in a GP magazine drawing. Converted to a baritone tuned B to B.

DeArmond M75T kind if like a Guild Bluesbird or a Gretsch Sparkle Jet with a silver glitter finish and a licensed Bigsby.
Bought on clearance from Musician's Friend

None of mine are all that rare. The rarest I have would be one of the following. The first two would only be moderately rare simply based on their color. The third and fourth were truly limited run guitars.

    • 1980 Gibson Les Paul Custom, silverburst
    • 1997 Fender ‘52 reissue Tele, copper
    • 2012 Martin 00-28v limited Elderly Anniversary edition
    • 2015 Fender limited edition Blackout Strat

Don’t know if it’s rare, but my ‘63 SG “Les Paul” Junior has a 10” inch radius. That’s weird.

Oh, I see. That’s cool - I haven’t seen that bridge. I’ve only seen the straight bar with the little raised bumps for spacing and I can’t imagine that those would intone very well. Thanks for your reply and photo. I may have to find one of these gems.

According to most reports, this Gretsch G6121-FTW is one of 60 made.

    How it came from Gretsch

Hamer 3 pickup Eclipse. It's been refinished (thanks @BCR Greg) but pretty rare even in it's original form.

A 1959 Gibson ES125TD, now sporting an after-market cutaway (it's a long, sad story). The dual pickups version is more rare (302 made in 1959) than the single pickup version (2072 made in 1959). Here she is after being restored:

My rarest guitar (as in “never seen another the same”) is my mid 50s Lee Gibbs Concertone, made by United-Code in New Jersey.

Fully hollow, no F-holes, 23” scale.

Lefty Martin D-45. I don't think a lot of those have been made.
