What's this Tele worth?

I'm thinking of trading a Trad Les Paul for this mint 1996 Custom Shop Telecaster with a 3 pickup config and maple neck. I just cant find what the value is? Anybody have a Clue? Sorry, no pics. Thanks.

It's a trans white finish, maple neck, Custom shop logo on headstock and neck plate, looks like an ash body, 3 single coil pickups, 5 way switch. 1996 with COA. That's all I know. It plays great!

Me personally, I wouldnt trade a LP for a Tele, custom shop or not. If you ask me, custom shop fender means "same price as a good gibson". And both are overpriced.

Hank, what type of bridge does this CS Tele have?

A "vintage" '52 style plate and saddles?

A Strat hardtail plate, like the James Burton with the flames on it?

Or does it have a "modern" bridgeplate like a Custom Deluxe or Custom Classic?

Also:

You gotta decide if the neck is suited to you. If it is so thin you can't stand it, even if the CS is worth more on paper, you don't want it.

If it's just a regular Custom Shop and not a Masterbuilt, I would say in Today's

Market about $1,800 Tops.
