I was just listening to Dan Fogelberg's "Same Old Lang Syne" and it brought back some melancholy days gone by, the one that got away, but still great times. What's yours?

I play it in my solo guitar set. Always gets compliments.

    My favorite, too.

(apparently "+1" is too short of a post!)

Mine is "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas" - no particular version, but I am partial to instrumental versions mostly.

A close second is Elvis' "I'll Be Home For Christmas"

Some of my favorites are already mentioned, but I'll add Willie Nelson's Pretty Paper.

Big +1 from me on this one. My all time favorite Christmas song, without a doubt. It is a perfect narrative of a relationship captured in miniature.

I also really like Sam Phillips and T-Bone Burnett's version of "It Came Upon a Midnight Clear", but The Pogues song just slays me to this day.
