Mine's "The Times They Are A Changing." Was moved by it in the third grade ('67 I think) and still love the words. Don't love Bob's voice, so here's an alternative version.
Where Have All The Flower Gone. I always liked that one. Darn near anything by PP&M. Not only were they great, they made a lot of that stuff accessible. If you were a kid, like I was, you might not dig Dylan doing Blowing In The Wind but you would like it if it was PP&M. Of course later we caught up with Dylan. Still, Peter, Paul & Mary could do no wrong att, and Mary was not hard to look at.
Seems like some of these are singer/songwriter songs in the folk genre and not really 'folk' songs in the truer sense of the word. I'm a sucker for any fingerpicked version of John Henry. Haven't bothered figuring out youtube yet. Apologies.
