What's your favorite fuzz to use with wah, before or after the wah, and settings?

Fuzz first - always! Something with a nasty 60's garage-psych flavor. I like wah before OD (amp's OD in this case) but after fuzz.

Wah --> buffered boost/OD --> Fuzz Face.

For me, it's a Dunlop GCB-95, Ibanez Super Tube STL (set for clean boost), and a Swaptronics BC-108 Silicon Fuzz Face. Muff is nice too, but the Fuzz Face has more midrange to wah out with.

I like octave up fuzz before wah, as long as its going into a dirty amp.

Into a clean amp, I like wah into big muff. This makes the big muff stand out more in a mix too, especially for solos.

I usually use a Clyde Deluxe, but I have a 535Q laying around too.

Wah before the fuzz, you get better sweep if the fuzz plays nice. I like crybabys modded and home made fuzz.

I pair mine with a DAM Drag'n'Fly with great success (Clyde first). Both followed by OD also works well if you want to smooth things out a little.

Wah into Fuzz Face most of the times, just sounds better to me despite the common knowledge that FF into wah sounds better. Wah first give a lot more of the wah effect than after fuzz which acts simply as a treble booster really
