    Hi all,

Just curious to find out what's your favourite seymour duncans pickups in a Les Paul Standard.

I hear great things about the 59s, antiquity, seth lovers. Tell me which combination works best for you and also, the difference between potted and unpotted.

I am contemplating a set of 59s, but whether to choose an unpotted set, I m just not sure. I am more inclined towards rock/blues/jazz.

    Please advise!

    Cheers.

As far as SD's, I liked the Seth Lovers, but I did a quick potting, not enough to really soak through the coils, but just enough to stop the squeal. Having said that, I switched to a Bill Lawrence L-500C/L combo to cover anything.

    rooster.
