....I always think "cheap and lazy."

I know this is shallow, no need to inform me of that fact. :) But when I see a guitar or amp where the builder has used plain old MS Script in lieu of coming up anything more original, it is a big turn off. There are guys making jazz boxes and mandolins priced at several thou each and their pearloid inlay of choice is cheap-looking MS Script.

I'll crawl back in my hole now. :)

Considering that picture, the MS Script is the least of the design laziness. :munch

They also stuck to the comfortable, but lazy, path of a base 10 numbering system on the knobs. Philistines.

I think I've lost my ability to detect sarcasm in Original Posts. Fortunately it has not affected my ability to detect such in responses!

Papyrus and Bleeding Cowboys make me want to punch something. I will not buy something with a Bleeding Cowboys font. I know it sounds petty, but I can't help it.

Well in the case of the Clark amp, it sure seems like the rest of the amp is a clone (or whatever you wanna call it) of a BF Fender amp, so another style logo (especially since the amp has the black tolex and the BF grille) would just look goofy, IMO.

Yeah, it seems to me that the amp designer was goign for a blackface Fender look. That font is similar to the way the Fender logo was originally written. As long as the amp sounds good, I'm good.
