Really nice! Now we are getting somewhere, Mr Microtonal bends himself
Peter Green and B.B.King are and always will be among My favorites for a great "Slow Blues". However, I think that Peter Green's partner in Fleetwood Mac, Danny Kirwan, is way too often, overlooked.
This guys soloing is rather lacking. He's got a feel thoughA little more current...kickass?...you know it
Love this album it's killinHere's one of my favorites
Ronnie Earl is awesome! I always thought he isn't mainstream solely because of his lack of vocals.I agree with a lot of the names mentioned so far! (Haven't seen all the names so these may have been mentioned).
I would add...
Ronnie Earl - check Ronnie out. He's got a lot more than just this one example.
Roy Buchannan - The Messiah Will Come Again
Jimmy Page "Tea For One" - Led Zeppelin Presence
Roy BuchananPlease let us not go into SRV or Hendrix, I am looking for something else.
I am looking for touch, taste, nuance and a lyrical ability in the tone and phrasing. If it was somebody new and not widely talked about on boards, that would be terrific also to check out.
