It sure does stifle interest to post or respond to anything. Anyone else feel that way after a short suspension?

No, I deserved it. I let myself get too invested in a debate and a time out was appropriate.

I’m quite proud of the reason I’ve been suspended. I wouldn’t mind repeating myself, but I don’t feel the need any longer. I appreciate bigmike enough that I don’t want to put him in that position, so I’m careful about how I treat the creeps.

Unfortunately Gist can be construed many ways, and usually just enough for someone to hit the report. Seems best to talk about flowers and soil. But, I bet it gets nasty at the gardening forums too.

I think I get what ya mean! I got dinged...I posted something without really thinking how the content might violate the forum rules...oops!
I am certainly much more cautious about how I might say something...but yeah, I did feel a bit "stifled" (self imposed).
But now that I am over that, I am totally ready to get back on the horse and be grossly inapropriate again!

I can't decide how much higher my post count would be if I didn't have that mental 7 second delay between some of the responses I type up and hitting the post button. There have been a bunch oevr the years where I've thought better of actually posting but I don't think ALL of them were bannable or suspendable.

But some of them definitely would be worthy of a timeout.

Never been suspended, so I've no frame of reference.

    I'm a terminal rule follower I guess.

Part of it is the stigma when trying to enter back into regular life. Will the world still interact with me?

I got suspended after that Las Vegas shooting, I don't know, things just seem less "interesting" here since then. Plus I've been working like 60+ hours a week. I guess things were better before...
