So someone told me his buddy did a Gibson factory tour last week and they said that les pauls arent made in Tenn. anymore. They are made in one of those middle square states. "Montana? I doesnt ring a bell" but he didnt think it was Montana.

Thoughts?

Pretty sure Gibson manufactures guitars in Nashville and Memphis (semi-hollow and custom shop), TN, as well as Bozeman, MT (acoustics maybe). I think they also have some manufacturing in Canada.

Maybe your thinking of the state they used to be made in, Michigan.

I have an LP that was made in Kalamazoo Michigan...it's called The Kalamazoo Model.

Gibson makes their semi-hollows and hollows in Memphis. Les Pauls are made in Nashville.

THIS. Acoustics in Bozeman, Montana. They say during the Gibson tour in Memphis that all the white guitars are sprayed there.
