Is the only place Blue Angel Music?

I thought I read some people bought them direct.

It is my understanding that you can only get the pedal from Blue Angel Music and that John Landgraff works there.

John does not work there anymore. He runs everything himself now. I got mine directly from him. In doing so he can tweak it a bit and taylor it more for you instead of a stock version that is made for Blue Angel Music. Stock form is still killer, but the way mine is tweaked, it's just that much more. :)

I think that direct costs you a few bucks more ($25?) but you get a better choice of finishes...at least that's what I recall from JL the time I spoke with him once.

I was luckey enought to find one used at a good price...but may order a MOD. :)

The M'OD is a killer pedal. It has a great touch and the tone is superb. I'm looking for a LDO myself....

The OD is tubescreamer-ish, and what's the M'OD like?

Supposed to be based on a Rat but I never heard a Rat sound like that. Great note definition and it goes from crunch to fuzz.

I am pretty sure you can get them from Blues Angel music and some Japanese Distributor, however they go for $800 in Japan. I was at Blues Angel last week while was on a short vacation and it is a really cool store, right next door to where my father bought his first drum set in 1960!! Great place, you are ever in Pensacola check it out, I bought a slightly used ZIM there but they had a lot of cool stuff.

They're $425 and tuned specifically for your needs/style/rig direct from John. This removes the need for the tuning kit...so really, the extra $25 saves you money :D
Mines almost finished and should 'hopefully' be recieving it in the next few weeks...

Bump to ask whether anyone knows when's a good time to call John. I don't want to be rude and disturb his family at a bad time. Thanks.
