I've only previously used Tremolo from an amp.

I am wondering where you put your trem pedal for old school trem.

I am guessing after dirt or in the effects loop but would like to hear more about where everyone likes to place it.

I put my Voodoo Lab Tremolo in my Rivera or Mesa's effects loop, before the DD-20. Works pretty good. If I didn't have an effects loop, then after dirt.

In front of amp, post-dirt, pre-delay.

Same here. I've tried it in and out of loop and everywhere in my effects chain. I get the tones I like best with it as my last pedal before my delay.

i run mine in my loop, just before the delay.
it sounds most like amp trem to me in this spot.

however i occasionally will run a boss pn-2 in front of a dirty amp for a hard clipped special effect sound.

I run my Boss TR-2 in front of the amp. Dirt comes from the amp, delay is in the loop, so I guess I'm running the TR-2 pre-everything. Sounds great.

while it's totally up to taste, keep in mind that on old Fender amps tremolo is after dirt in the signal chain, so anything you heard on classic records it was last in the chain

In my looper - after compressor, but before delay. I wouldn't usually run chorus and tremolo at the same time so their order is pretty irrelevant.

I run it last, even after delay because some dude told me that when you chop up your trem, you cut off certain delays and it sounds really cool, which it does. It's kind of like a stutter effect. Don't know if you're into that, but hey, it's an idea.

I use mine's after delay and dirt. You really just gotta figure out what works best with your setup.

Ooops. I effed that up. That's how I was using it until the other week. Then I was listening to Low and the had a song where the Trem was clearly last in the chain and I loved it so much that I switched my rig around. I like the Trem way better after the delay.

My Frantone Vibutron is basically last in my effects loop. Love that pedal.

My trem is after my dirt, just before my delay, chorus and volume pedals.
