I have four guitars, and I'm having trouble finding room for them! One I may hang on the wall, and one I'll put in a stand because I play it a lot, but that still leaves the huge cases, and the even bigger acoustic in its case etc. etc.

Part of my problem is that I have too many hobbies, but still - I see people with 40 guitars. Where do you keep them all?

all of mine are on stands, I find if I don't have them on stands they don't get played, and then what is the point of having them.

I have 10. 5 are in cases under my bed, 5 are in case in our walk-in closet. Keep 1 rotating on a wall (3 kids under 6 makes you pretty protective of your guitars)

Right now I have a portable Closet thingy I bought at Home depo in my Bedroom. I really ran out of room so I'm almost done with a House extension , a 4th Bedroom that will serve as a media room and Music room. I included a nice 4x8 closet that will house my guitars nicely .

My one and only, my Squier Standard Telecaster, sits on a stand right near me as I sit here on the computer...I pick it up and play as the mood strikes me!

I think the most I ever had at one time was 12. When I had that many, they were all over the place. Under the bed, in corners, in closets, etc...

Now I have 5 and one stand. Whatever I'm playing sits in the stand. The rest in their cases lined up against the wall in the jam room.

I turned one of our bathrooms, with shower into a storeroom. Extra raw speakers and misc. parts, cords, etc. go there too. I just hope no one turns the shower on.

Always keep the guitars in the cases -- for many good reasons, including, keeping them properly humidified -- electrics and acoustics.

What I do with the cases is another story -- and I suppose a high class problem, owning nine of them -- well the Nocasters came with extra cases, so I suppose I own even more. I admit that my 1992 MIM strat does stay out on a stand. That Poly finish is indestructable. Really.

I have a "guitar room" built in my basement. I have 24 feet of slatwall in that room and another 8 feet in the shop area. My friend also built me some shelves to store the extra cases. Here are a couple pics...

All of my musical instruments are on the wall or in stands. If they're not out in the open and within reach they just don't get played.
