there are online stores that advertise them but they dont have them in stock. i was going to sell off a couple of my pedals for one but i guess they are like a ghost pedal?

Not a ghost pedal. They are just selling way faster than Suhr is making them right now. It appears that this is going to be a really popular pedal. I'm on a waiting list for one myself.
