Be careful. I PayPal'd the funds to Cornford over 6 months ago for the Erotic Cakes CD and have not received it. Also happened to a buddy who placed his order at the same time.

If you want to get your Guthrie on Via itunes, the track "Fives" that is on The Alchemists cd is better than the one on Erotic Cakes.

He also does a version with Tal Wilkenfeld on Lee Ritenours 6 String Theory album that is good as well....more improve than the Alchemist version....plus the bass on it is killer.

The Erotic Cakes version is too processed for my tastes.

I love Guthrie but I feel like he's wasting his immense talent. Then again, if he's happy doing what he's doing then more power to him. Too bad for those of us who dig his playing though.
