Where to buy Suhr Pro Series guitars?

After looking at a lot of guitars, I'm thinking about buying a Suhr S2 or S4. Are there any retailers that actually have a decent stock of the guitars? I'm just trying to identify my color options, how readily available that option would be, and what the price would be.

Also curious to hear any Suhr opinions. Seem like a pretty solid option at/around the 2k price point.

Not "Suhr" where you are located. But I saw on the web there is a store in blacksburg VA with a lot of models in stock. Just do a search and I am "Suhr" they will turn up... ha...

Thanks Troy! I'll do a google. I'm located in Kansas City, MO, and found a local shop with a few in stock. I plan to head over there and see if they have the ability to order in specific models.

Not sure why OP didn't just hit Google, but you are talking about Rocket Music, which is GREAT. The owner is top notch and the store is very cool.

Just spoke to a local Suhr guitar shop on the phone here in town, called Funky Munky Music.

Seems like these things are really hard to get, let alone to get the color you're looking for. My best bet might be to buy one off eBay, or choose another guitar.

Guy told me that they have orders coming in, but Suhr's turn-around is 10 months for them. So I'd essentially put 50% down, and have to wait to get the axe.

Or, I find one on the internet that's in stock.

I owned an S4 a few years back. Great guitar, no complaints, although at this point the neck profile on those would be a little too skinny for my preference.

Haggerty, Humbucker, Wildwood, Wild West, Diffusion Audio, Andy's, NStuff, Indoor Storm, Music Zoo, and Dave's are just a few online dealers I check regularly for Suhr stock.

Looks like the real way to get an S4 in a desired color is to just keep checking online dealers to find one that I might like. Thanks for all the help guys!

Anyone else have thoughts on the S4? It's more than I've ever spent on a guitar, but I played an S2 and really dug it.

IMO, do not deal with having to put 50% down.
The Suhrs that I've custom-ordered have required 20%-25% down payment.
See if you can find a dealer who's already got an S4 on order and then change the color to what you'd like.

IME, check with SuperSoundMusic, Make'nMusic, RocketMusic and Matt's Music.

Still waiting to hear back from a variety of shops. Ebay seems to be my best bet, there's one in Bahama Blue, but I think that color is a little too vibrant for me, hah.

Make N Music couldn't get one until January, and I haven't found a single S4 that is in stock anywhere except for maybe one or two places. wow, these guitars are exhausting trying to track down, haha

Maybe that's a sign that you should to order one to your exact specs...
