1. The Gear Page is run by musicians for musicians. We listen, we learn and if we misstep we are not afraid to do the right thing. We proposed some changes to the Emporiums. Based on feedback from members, we have decided to not go ahead with those changes. However, it has also highlighted that we need some community input into what is working and what is not working for members here. Where to rent nice mics in Boston area?

    I might want to rent some nice SDC and LDC's to see what I want to buy.

    Someone suggested renting but where?

    If it's real high end gear you're looking for, Mercenary Audio isn't far and while they probably won't rent gear to you, they'll let you shoot it out and see what you like.

    For microphones, shipping charges won't be too bad. You might want to look into one of the houses that specializes in rentals. If you go that route, try Rolff at Blackbird:
