    Hello guys,

I just got my Fryette Power Station and there are a few questions i need answered before I turn this unit on for the first time.

My signal chain looks like this:

Guitar -> Instr. Cable -> Amp -> Speaker Cable -> Fryette Load In -> Fryette Load Out -> Speaker Cable -> Cab

FX Chain (Between Fryette load in and out):

Fryette FX send -> instrument cable -> time based FX -> instrument cable -> Fryette FX return

I know that I have to use speaker cables for the amp and cab connections, but what kind of cable do I have to use for the FX loop? Are instrument cables good enough or do they pose a safety risk in that situation?

Also, can i use an instrument cable for the line out on the power station if I want to connect that lineout to a soundcard or my Kemper?

    Thanks!

Correct - speaker cable for everything that's speaker level (output from amp and output from Power Station) and instrument cable for the instrument level stuff (Fryette fx send/return and line out).

Related question - are speaker jacks different from instrument jacks?

Would any ol TS cable work in case I wanted to run the line out of the PS into a Focusrite 2i2?

Thanks everyone, loving this thing so far!

usually not - the same jacks (e.g. cliff uk) are often used
