I recently got a old 78 big muff...... IT sounds great, but when bypassed it pretty much cuts all sound except for a very quiet fizzy bleed (a fizzy distortion)

so I assume it needs a new footswitch..... but where do I get such a thing done..... ?

It's a very simple circuit, any local music store should be able to swap the switch out or fix the connection.

Or do it yourself. I think that's a simple DPST switch? Buy one from Small Bear, Pedalpartsplus or any other purveyor of gear crack and get your tech to teach you to solder...

It is a simple fix. If you can't do it, CJlectronics.com.
