Just curious if anybody as keen on these as MOI?:AOK
I have a 50 watt single channel Indoor Storm model en route now. I've played a few models in Midtown Music (ATL) and always thought they were something really special. I actually have a band where a blasting 50 watt head is necessary now :D and I'm getting to the point where I'm using less on the floor and more of the GTR volume knob for tones, etc.

I've got a Custom 80. Great medium gain head that is very articulate and has a very very healthy dose of bottom that always stays nice and tight. She plays nice with pedals. She's my classic rocker.

I had a Custom 30 too, same greatness at a little lower temperature. Played an HG100, once again lots of articulation with an incredible tight thump. Really nice high gain head! Doug makes some top shelf quality amps.

I've been tempted to let my Custom 80 go and jump on a Jenelle.

I had an HG30 which was awesome. The thing that surprized me was how nice a clean tone it got with my strat. I had to sell the amp, but I think that one day I would really like a 18W Rocca.

I only built a few of these, similar to the HG100 but a more aggressive OD.
Hopefully yours is still the stock circuit.

    Hey guys & Doug!
Thanks for chiming in. Yes, I think she's pretty much stock except for a replaced output transformer (work done by Mr. Suhr). The guy says the amp will "peel paint off the walls with sheer volume." With my band, I need that.:AOK:AOK:AOK Loud buncha bungholes!!!:):messedup:BITCH:)

The build quality is exceptional & they sound totally awesome. I love the HG-100, best high gain amp out there!

Landed last nite. This thing is the GODZILLA of rock amps. It's easily the biggest, heaviest, most overbuilt amp I've ever owned--reminds me of a howitzer. :) The only thing close in weight and size I've had was a Kendrick BG50 2x12 combo (I have the hernia to prove it..). Dead quiet operation, KILLER KILLER KILLER Drive tones, but the funny kicker is that the clean tones (gain all the way down) are stellar! Big, glassy, gorgeous tones all around.

Why DID I wait so long for one of these....??? :(

Hey Doug (BTW--I'm Williebudda from Myspace in case ya haven't figured it out):D

Oh yeah--you and the guy I got it from were dead on about this bad boy. I'm hooked completely! Had more time to play it today and couldn't be happier. Big, bad and loud, but very musical. Can't WAIT to take this to band rehearsal on Thursday---hehehehehehehe...:Devil:Devil:drool:RoCkIn:dude

This will NOT be my last Roccaforte amp!!:BEER

I played a Custom 80 once and was blown away! If I ran into a pile of cash I'd get one.. I really dont need another marshally amp and dont want to get rid of anything I have ...but if I did the Custom 80 would be high on the list

His amps are AMAZING! I bought a used Custom 30 that had someone had modded on eBay. Sounded good before the mods were removed and surreal after Doug returned the amp to stock. If I can get the money together I'm definitely going to get one of his high gain amps.
