Anyone there??? Going Sunday night???
really good show. generally low key, interesting song selection, almost all from solo career with couple of exceptions.
High points - duet with Jimmie Vaughan, jam with Bramhall and Trucks on Let It Rain (also Eric's best playing), I Shot The Sheriff (which seems to have become his showcase guitar hero song). John Mayer sounded like an SRV wannabe on his duet IMHO.
the band was great. Clapton seemed most engaged and into it when there was another guitarist on stage.
What's the strat in the pic?
Who was in his band?
Good to see he had Doyle & Derek back... Was it recorded? Maybe future did release?
Looks like a great show from all the Instagram videos that I've seen. If this is EC's last U.S. performances before his retirement, I'm going to be really bummed. He's the reason I play guitar and got into music
it was Gadd on drums, East on bass, Stainton (who was fantastic) and Carrack on keys, two backup singers. Rest were one-song guests (plus encore)
WITH MSG would have been cooler. All original members AND Clapton!
