I’m not seeing very many rumors/hints about new toys coming out in a few weeks at NAMM.... anyone know anything?

I’m curious to see if Line 6 introduces an M series replacement. My apologies to the TGP community. Someone needs to jump in and speculate about Spaceman or Chase Bliss and get this thread back on track!

Line6 is definitely due to level up. I'm certain they will.

I get updates on Empress’s Echosystem and Reverb, they’ve been a bit slow on firmware updates lately because they’re preparing something for NAMM. That’s all they said. Read into that what you will...

I've heard rumours that Victory Amps have been working on tube overdrive pedals. Wondering if they'll be shown at NAMM.

    What I'd love to see:
Ibanez - additions to their mini line, including phaser, flanger and Sonic Distortion; an S-series with 22 frets - UPDATE: none of these in the new 2018 catalog
    Electro-Harmonix -
    a TRUE Electric Mistress flanger
Fender - a '68 Custom Super Reverb HEAD with more than one ohm option for speaker out; a Michael Landau Hot Rod DeVille head
Synergy - a pedal enclosure for a single module, with an output designed to be used as a stompbox
Line6 - a hardware & software upgrade/replacement for the M-series with an expression pedal built-in; an H9-style unit where you can just buy the algos you want to use; upgrades/replacements for their original big-box modelers (DL4, MM4, FM4, etc)
    Boss - of course, Waza versions of the PH-1R, DC2, BF/HF-2, SG-1 and HM-2
Marshall - an updated, classy pedal line; bring back the Shredmaster and Guv'nor. SMD should be able to make those SMALL now.
Gretsch - bring back the champagne Sparkle Jet
Mojotone - Jazzmaster pickups for their Quiet Coil line

One thing we need for sure, is some new overdrive pedals from more manufacturers. The choice is simply too limited now.

Humorously, the Klon Boost could literally just be a KTR with no Gain pot- internally fixed at minimum.

I'm guessing that puts it squarely into the "not-fuzz" camp for you?

Especially with the Helix being the success it has been. They gotta cash in on those algorithms some more. I won't be at all surprised to see a DL4 replacement using Helix's algos. An amp sim only small box from them would also be super cool. I've been Helix-curious for a while now, but I don't care much at all about all of the effects. I'd love a great amp modeller in a small box, though.

I started a rumor that Yamaha is bringing out a Rev Star that is 6.5 pounds, has a neck like a 61 SG and has the Gibson Angus Young bridge pick up and a hot P-Rail in the front. It has a copper pick guard and is made in Japan. Each one is custom reliced by being drug behind a Yamaha motorcycle on a gravel road and you get to keep the motorcycle. Limited to 100 units.
