Lately I've realized there are some famous people using TGP:

Scott Henderson & John Suhr are two persons I've encountered in discussions lately (as seen).

Anybody knows if Landau is hanging out here or other great players?

James Valentine of Maroon 5 is a member, John Mayer reportedly lurks here, Tomo is member and posts frequently (monster player by the way), lots of builders here as well.

Jim Morrison posts here pretty regularly, as does Kurt Cobain.

There seems to be many great/elitist players here, but I'm guessing most of us have never heard of them.

But, I take their word for it that they ARE great & far better than most others that play out currently.

We are fortunate to have Steve Kimock share his insights here.

The reason I signed up here was the day Ray Flacke started posting. He only posted about a day or two...I'm still here though :)

It seems that James Blood Ulmer posted here.

The great David Torn, Ed Degenero, Ken Rosser, etc...are regular contributors.

So many here can also bench press 400 and run a 4 min mile. What a talented group of men we are. :p

Whichever guy is the biggest Mayer hater/troll, is the one I figure actually is Mayer. :munch

What's your definition of "artist"? Also, how famous do people need to be in order to be mentioned here?

    * Peter Thorn (guitarist who has played with Chris Cornell, Melissa Etheridge, etc.) regularly contributes here.

    Pete Thorn
Kimock is around but it seems like every time I see his posts, he's just ripping on TGP posters

David Torn is "Splatt"- thankfully he shares his experiences, thoughts and stories here freely...

Josh Smith is someone I love to read, too.

I think I've seen posts here by Redd Volkert and Greg Koch...

It's not that many then. I'd guessed more, probably a few sneak around without posting or posting with a pseudonym. You'd guess people like Carl Verheyen, Allen Hinds, Richie Kotzen, Steve Lukather, Michael Landau and others would hang out here.

I got "blamed" for being someone famous once via PM. The guy thought for sure I was someone famous due to my location and our discussion. It was rather comical.
