Which bridge for PRS SE?

PRS SE single cut with a wraparound bridge. No issues with intonation or anything, more just upgrading because I like tweaking the guitar.

Can't decide between the PRS USA wraparound bridge (and studs and stud wells) or the MannMade intonatable bridge. Any experience with either?

that bridge is one of the best things on that guitar, you won't gain anything by replacing it.

get better pickups if you wanna upgrade it.

I've already installed Seymour Duncan Alnico II Pro humbuckers. Although I'm thinking of swapping the bridge pickup A2 for a rough cast A5.

As far as the bridge itself, if I can find a USA stoptail I'll go that route. I feel the solid piece of metal should have better sonic properties than the intonatable.

I've used aluminum Wilkinson bridges, on many SE's. It's one of the easiest and cheapest upgrades ($35), you can make. It actually seems to be made better than some of the $100 bridges. And unlike replacing the nut, it will effect the sound of every note that you play.

The A5 will scoop out the middle and tighten the bass. a RC A5 is a good choice.

Is that a double cutaway or singlecut guitar?

Might seem far fetched, but I don't think A2 pickups sound great in the double cutaway although they sound good in the singlecut.

I think Roughcast A5 sounds good in both body styles. As for the bridge, one of mine cy SE's came with a TonePros locking bridge upgrade.

And it did sound tighter. Fewer of the little extraneous vibrations and rattles that we usually just take as part of the sound of a guitar.

So it sounds more solid and tight than my other SE's.

Single cut, the earlier Tremonti guitar before it went to tremolo version. The one thing my old and sold SG did that the PRS doesn't is this airy high quality to the pickups.
