Ok gang, I've got a Les Paul plain top I'm putting a Burstbucker Pro in the neck (score off of ebay) which will do fine for what I play. Mostly hard rock, classic rock, some metal, sometimes blues too. I'm basicly looking for a bridge pup than can has a good crunch but has good sustain for leads and is clear. I have tried SH-6, SH-5 in other guitars, but I do have a nice tube amp and plenty of gain. Also would like to retain that gibson tone if at all possible. Looked at BB's, '57's so far but wonder if they'll mush out for the heavier stuff. All suggestions welcome

I highly recommend the WCR pickups, you might like the darkburst for a slightly hot vintage tone or the godwood for more gain. Very clear tone from all Jim's pickups.
