For a couple SRV tunes in the band I use my Clone Theory pedal to fake the Leslie sound...works o.k. Although I would love a Rotosphere or something like that, I don't want to spend the $ or take up the space on my board. Are there any better chorus/vibrato options out there (Red Witch) or should I stick with what I've got?

    Arion SCH-1 or SCH-Z.

The TC Nova Modulator will do this - you can have two effects at once...

I may sound like a broken record but another vote for the Arion SCH-1

For me the OPTION 5 Destination Rotation is the best for the leslie sound but if you really want a chorus pedal for that, go to ANALOGMAN

Best budget option is the Moen Shaky Jimi - around $50-$60 US. In chorus mode it does the Leslie thing better than most things I've heard. It's also a very decent vibe pedal too when set in vibe mode. It has a slightly bigger footprint than a Boss but it's not overly huge.

I get pretty good results with my HBE Three Hound Chorus, but I'll admit that I haven't played through either a real Leslie or most of the other pedals mentioned here. I used to dial in a very slow subtle chorus like Ry Cooder on Chicken Skin Music or Showtime, but I've gone to a faster Leslie simulation because of this pedal.

Thats what I use as well. I will admit that I would like to try the Option 5 though.

After checking several I settled on the DLS Rotosim, great Leslie simulator.

Arion SCH-1 gets my vote too.

Another one that comes to mind is the Retro-Sonic chorus. Excellent chorus...

The BBE Mind Bender is the most leslie-like chorus I've ever heard, much more so to my ears than the Small Clone. Plus it has a vibrato mode.
