Which delay to pair with DMMTT (flashback vs DD-20)

I had a timeline and a carbon copy, but i have since traded out the timeline and got a DMMTT, so the carbon copy is about to get replaced with a digital pedal, that is more versatile. I really like different things on each pedal, and am not sure which to get:

1) for digital delays, i think the dd-20 sounds better
2) the tape on the flashback sounds great to me
3) toneprints with the flashback, but the dd-20 has presets
4) the flashback is smaller, but doesnt have a true tap tempo
5) the flashback has the switch which allows dotted 8th and quarters at the same time, which is a plus

Overall, they both sound good, and am not sure which to get :huh

any opinions?

i'd say neither. Get a TC Nova Delay. to me the tape/analog modes sound same as the flashback, the digital sounds great, and it has 9 presets (as opposed to 3 on the DD20). it also has tap tempo and tons of subdivisions (including dual delays like on the flashback).

plus it's at a pretty nice price point.

Flashback X4? I'd personally go with the DD20 - I think BOSS has the digital delay field perfected, second only to Providence or Eventide. For the price though, go for BOSS.

The x4 seems pretty good, but i am looking to heep int around the $130 range (used). I really wish there was a dd-20 with a toneprint slot haha
