I have had a lot of recommendations, but I don't really have the money to try them all. Which eminence would you recommend to play rock, blues, country, jazz, etc?

Cannabis Rex, fantastic speaker, takes a while to break in though.

For the texas blues sound nothing beats a Texas Heat... obviously. That's what I have in mine. If you're going for all those genres maybe a Red, White & Blues?

I tried a texas heat, but it was too muddy and dull sounding.

I have never played a RWB in that amp but it is a great sounding speaker.. The Govenors and Private jacks might fit the bill for you to as well.

the cannabis rex definitely does take a while to break in. sounds very nice though, although after retubing and changing the speaker i found the eq controls on the amp did almost nothing to the tone. still got a tone i really liked especially using the tone/volume controls on my guitar. nice speaker, probably sounds a bit better with single coils. neck pickup with the tone control anywhere below 7 is way too dark.

Legend GB128. It's their version of the Greenback, rated at 50 watts. Sounds great right out of the box

Governor. Sounds great out of the box, and doesn't take a long time to break either.

I have a Governor in mine. I really like it. But Cannabis Rex seems to be all the rage in this amp. I have yet to try one...

I would say that it gives the amp a bit more clarity and smoothness. If you've heard a V30, it's similar to that.

I have a cannabis rex in my omega modded Hrd Dlx and it sounds great. I also spent a lot of time with the warehouse speakers V30 clone and it was awesome as well. I'm thinking of putting it back in the Hrd I liked it so much, and putting the rex in my SFDR.

I just tried a cannabis rex in there and it sounded dull and lifeless. Very scooped tone. Too much bass and treble and not enough mids.

I have an HRDX, And have tried a bunch of different speakers. The Red White and Blues is darker than the stock Eminence, sounds best when cranked. For clean country, my favorite is the Celestion Century Vintage that came stock in the HRDX White Lightning. Sounds great to me, and works better with the ain channel. Great with high gain pedals as well.
