...in an open back cab with a Dr. Z Mazerati (AC 30 type head). I have an Alnico Silver Bell (P12Z - 30 watt no dope) or a Scumback (Pre-Rola Greenback) M75 (75Hz). I'm playing classic rock and indie rock. Looking for an organic/rock and roll tone. Thanks.

I traded my Mazerati back when to a guitar player for a band called Silkworm. He was running it through 2 Blues and it sounded heavenly. If the deal wasn't already settled, I would have backed out right there.

A Red Fang might be nice.

I love Silkworm...Bottomless Pit is awesome too! The band I play drums for (The Kyle Sowashes) had a song on that Silkworm tribute and played a tribute show for them at the Empty Bottle last fall.

BTW: I decided to go with the G12H(55) and the Alnico Silver. If I don't like it, I could always put the Scum M75 back in.
