    Hi TGPers

has anyone have experience in the above?

DO I have to buy a buffered switcher?

since I will spliting before it goes to pedal board

    Basically I split my

Electric Guitar signal to IPAD and AMP

Acoustic Guitar signal to IPAD and PA

Yes, probably buffered, passive splitting of a pickup signal can leave you with two weak signals and also give strange interactions beyween devices after the split n each side of the chain. Bad part is some wah and fuzz don't like being after buffers.

Radial Twin City is my splitter of choice. Drag (pu load control) and ground lift and phase reversal so you can deal with those problems if they pop up.

Boss ls-2 can act as a active splitter, but you have no ground lift or phase correction.

Mxr Kerry King 10 band EQ has dual buffered outputs but EQ effects both sides.
