Which Tech21 Character handles pedals best?

I've been researching this for a little while now(and did the searches). It seems that the Blonde, Liverpool and even the VT Bass work pretty good as direct clean guitar tones. Which one handles pedals the best? I have a Liverpool now and would possibly like to go with another. Anybody with experience using these live please give your opinions. Thanks!

I've got the blonde on the way. It'll be my first stab at tech 21's amp modeling gear. I have high hopes

I had a Liverpool. Sold it and got a Blonde. Great platform for any overdrive I have used on it. Most recent ones have been a Zendrive and Xotic AC Plus. Both sounded great. I run the Blonde "mostly" clean. I like the amount of low end on the Blonde too.

I love my Liverpool with a Barber LTD or Boss BD-2 into it.
I had the California as well, which was also nice, and handled TS type ods better than the Liverpool IMO. But I love the VOXiness of the Liverpool, so rarely used the California.
I've heard great things about the Blonde as well.

If you haven't checked them out yet, Burgs (burgerman666) did a great series of video demos using the different character pedals direct with other dirt pedals etc into them. Really helps to hear how the different pedals sound with a Timmy, 72 degress, or fuzz...

Thanks guys! I've seen Burgs' demo and it is awesome, but he could plug into a turd and sound great so I wanted to get some other's opinions. I plan on getting the Blonde and run both it and the LPool for a "dual amp" set up. I can't really recall any bad demos of these!
