I play in a hard rock band - think Alice in Chains, Tool, Helmet, etc. Also play some more straight ahead rock as well. I've done some research, but am kinda baffled at to what sets these wahs apart. Which do you think would be the best fit for me?

I've heard the Wizard is the best one for high gain and humbuckers. The RMC1 is the original RMC voicing, best with single coils. The RMC2 has a switch on the outside with 5 selectable voicings. The RMC3 has pots and dipswitches on the inside for infinite voicing possibilities. Picture wah is a repro of his favority Italian Vox wah like Jimi and Eric used

I'd get the RMC3, it can get very extreme if you want (or totally vintage sounding as well) so you could tweak it differently for different situations. You could get some sick and unique wah sounds to make your heavy tones stand out...

I'm having noise issues with mine, it gets really hissy when it's left on...

I have an RMC-3 and a Wizard Wah. I would say the Wizard is right for you!

+1 on the Wizard. Works well with heavy distortions and fuzzes in front of it. Beware that the internal volume trimmer might be set too high when you first get it. I had to adjust mine.

Can the Wizard do a nice clean channel reggae wah-chick/wah-chick sound?

I had trouble deciding which one to get but the RMC-3 can be dialed in like ALL the otherones (except the Joe Walsh signature wah)

That made me buy RMC-3. Sure you have to open it up to dial in the sound you want but once you have your sound you don´t have to touch it.
