I am looking to get a wah pedal. I tried the Morley Bad Horsie and loved the auto release feature but didnt know so much about the tone. I kept getting really harsh highs and for some reason it sounded muddy with it off. Are there any wahs with the same auto release feature that is also true bypass?

if Money is not an issue ---- I would look into the RM Vision Wah special.

My wah search has ended with this one. Vol/Wah pedal. Very musical and it is not over the top vocally (perfect for me)

It works different -- than a traditional wah -- it has no potentiometer gears or switch.

When you press down it switches to either vol or wah (wah is default).

It does not turn off (or release if that is what you mean) when you step off it.

If Money is no object buy an RMC and pay someone to turn it on and off for you.;)

Bad Horsie 2 is my fav. It's real bypass on my rig and I luv its variety of tones. I place it 1st in chain :)

I really like my fully loaded Area 51. I preferred it over the RMC Pic Wah and a Keeley modded Vox 847.

+1 Got a loaded A51 on order. Had the stock version and liked it so much I sold it. Best wah on the market at this time IMO.

I put the Area51 board, pot and switch in an older V847, best wah I've ever had now.
