which Weber for my Tweed Super..

    Mine came with P10R's ...not my favorite speaker...

    I would go with 10A150's. for more headroom.

    That's kinda what I was wanting to do,but wasn't sure if the top speaker would fit...( bigger magnet clear the tubes? )

    Then go with the 10A125 in a 30 watt.

    yeah that's the one I was kinda what I was looking at...
    think I'll do that & get some of the Tung Sol 5881 tubes...
    a little less headroom on the amps part & a little less "farty" speaker...
    might just do the trick :AOK

    make sure to report back when you change speakers. . .I also purchased a Super recently (Victoria) with the same Jensens as yours. I'd like to know what difference the Webers make. . .

    If I had a tweed Super w/o speakers I'd try the Jensen RI P10Rs, and then the P10Qs if the former gave it up to soon. I tried alot of stuff in a Vic Bassman a few years ago, including a couple Weber models. I'd bought the amp used with Kendrick Ceramics in it. Finally took Mark Baier's advice and tried the RI P10Rs. They were what stayed in the amp. I was pleasantly surprised.
