And then this. My first quality guit. Bought new in '86. Had it for 25 years. She's gone...*sniff*. Still the best playing guitar I've ever had.

Pay no attention to the pedals in the background. They all sucked themselves gone.

Macaster-designed by me. Body and neck built by USA Custom Guitars.

First of all, I installed a five way super switch, a P-90 in the neck position and a middle pickup.
I wanted to get a classic Tele bridge sound, a middle only sound as well as the classic neck/bridge sound plus one quack sound.

The two top knobs are both volume controls. One is a 250k for the bridge and middle pickups; the other a 500k for the
    p-90 neck pickup.
One ring knob is a tone control for the bridge pickup only (I don't need tone control for the middle or neck because they would always be on 10 anyway)
The other ring knob is a blender for the middle pickup that only operates in switch position 2. This allow me to have total control over the mix of the bridge/middle combo.
An extra bonus of having to use two volume controls; it allows me to also adjust the mix of the neck/bridge combo.

    Switch positions are:
    1. bridge
    2. bridge/middle blended(quack sound)
    3. middle only
    4. neck/bridge blended
    5. neck
It's like having the best of both Strat and Tele sounds. one may want to use a Strat type single coil at the neck but I wanted a P-90 and the fact that I could mount it under the guard.

It's not at all complicated to use. I designed it to be mostly "set and forget" for live stage use.
I usually set the knobs and just mostly change my sounds with the switch. I use a volume pedal

    To answer your other question:
Believe it or not. That Tele was found at the bottom of a cliff along with a hollow body Gibson by a friend of mine who was out hiking. Guitars were smashed to splinters and I dont what became of the broken body. I got the neck a couple years later and had to do some serious sanding to take out a back bow.

Always fancied a white guitar but never got around to buying one. Never owned a black one either but never coveted that color.

2013 Fender EC Strat in Olympic white. Photo was taken when it was brand new. It's yellowed a good bit now. I need to take another photo.

As you can see, I have a thing for white strats and large headstocks (specifically '66 styling). The Jimi strat is the most recent acquisition.

My lowly and kick ass LPJ which just needed some tlc to become a killer rock machine.

Removed the ugly pickup covers and had the fret ends filed and prepped.

Latest acquisition in vintage white - Richie Kotzen Strat, to partner my RK Tele (even the back looks gorgeous!).

Will do an electronics re-fit when I get chance (new switch & pots and I may add a blend circuit), but the body & neck fit/finish are superb, as with all my MIJ guitars.
