Check out this guy's work. I stumbled upon his site. He doesn't really do it, but he loves relicing guitars. Check out at the bottom page "guitars that I've built". Contact him he's a cool dude.

RS Guitarworks have reliced a few of mine but also restored an original 56 Strat for me. They do top quality work and are great people as well.

R&S has done 2 guitars for me. the work was top notch.

The first was a restoration project on a '63 Strat that someone had stripped back in the 70's. They did a gourgeos SeaFoam Green Nitro paint job.

The second was a custom paint job for a Hollow Body Strat project. This was a urethane paint job. They got the pickguard pattern from the manufacterer and continued out the pattern. A stunning piece of work.

Dan is based in London, Ontario, Canada. We almost had him produce our band's album.

Mark Jenny--www.mjtelecaster.com--does amazing finish and relic work.

One proviso. If the guitar is already finished it must be a nitro finish or there's really no point.

I've also heard great things about RS Guitarworks as well. They're doing a little "drying out" right now, but should be back up and running this week.

Most only know of Bill from his paisley Teles (like he builds for Braid Paisley).
But he also does outstanding finish work (including relics) as well.

YOU do!! Play the thing, use it and it will become the way it's supposed to be. The first ding will hurt BUT you will be able to look back and see how much time you spent with your instrument.
