Who does not hook their guitar cable over the strap?

    or have an alternate method of attachment?
    If I do not, it is bound to be disconnected in some short order.
    But, in viewing YT's, I occasionally see a pro on stage that does not do it,
    What could go wrong? Well, this.

    I don't even gig and I do it. I know at some stage I'm going to step on my cable.

    Always, force of habit now.
    It's a bad look when somebody steps on the chord and you get unplugged live.

    I have a Lava strap that has some velcro and elastic bands for cable management built in. With a more basic strap I probably wouldn't think to do it unless I was already having an output problem

    Not bad. Just in time for the vocal to come back in. However, I always wrap through the strap to avoid that.

    Maybe I'm doing it wrong, but I thread the cable UNDER the strap (between the strap & body). Is that what you mean?

    I dug the album. Surprising to see him go from a frontman/singer to a side guy. He was all over the place, live, with Dwight. It’s no surprise he didn’t last very long.

    Mine rests against the inside of the strap and hangs out over it to get the the guitar jack.:D

    I’ve never done it. Coming up on 30 years of gigging, and never pulled out a cable during practice, rehearsal, or on a gig.

    I do it. But sometimes I forgot. Doesn't seem to be the end of the world when I forget. I play closer attention stage.

    I'd rather use a long-ass cable than wireless so I'll keep doing it as long as I keep playing guitar.
