Who has compared the SUF and Wren and Cuff triangle Muffs?

    I'm curious how these two compare. I like the few clips I can find of the SUF, but don't feel like the clips available for the Wren and Cuff do it justice . . . unless I'm missing something.

    I have both, and they are very similar. Actually, I have the Wren & Cuff Tri Pi 70, the regular SUF Tri Muff, and the SUF 72 classic Muff. They all sound very similar. If I had to rank them, it would be:

    1. SUF Classic 72 Triangle
    2. Wren & Cuff Tri Pi 70
    3. SUF Tri Muff

    But seriously, it's almost a tie between 2 and 3. I just feel the W&C compresses and blooms a bit more, and the regular SUF Tri has a bit more of a conventional, modern sound.

    The W&C actually sounds closer to the SUF Classic 72 Tri than the SUF Tri Muff.

    You would be safe buying any of them. I've gigged all three quite a bit. Nothing bad to say about any of them.
