    Show us your naturals.

I've just always had a love for natural finish, you could say I like my guitars like I like my women but that just sounds cheesy.

As a kid I had a thing for the natural neck through look but that seems more like a thing of old.

Just aquired a Fender Raw American Special. I pine for a '78 Walnut Strat or Tele and I just love the look of grain and next year hoping for a Pine body Tele.

    I love them.
I could start with any of the old Peavey T-series guitars...always a pleasant view.

Here is a minor flood of non-top-tier guitars in natural finish:

    my Harmony H-49
I LOVE this guitar, and it plays astonishingly well. The neck quality is actually very nice, tho not 'natural'. I love the interplay between the natural wood top and the celluloid Futurama-cut guards.

my Roy Smeck H-58 Harmony, which acts a direct conduit for old Johnny Cash toans

    My home-built lap-steel
ash, padouk and ebony on the body

For a while, I had this stripped/refinished Harmony H-77, below.
It had the most beautiful flamed maple lam... a lot of those old Harmonies hid some nice figuring under those mundane factory finishes. You can see it under the Tobacco-burst in the top-left.

I'm usually not a huge fan of natural finishes but the PRS reclaimed run really caught my eye with some unique Brazilian Peroba Rosa and Brauna Preto. The CE24 is probably my all around favorite guitar now for it's super light weight and incredible tone.

I love natural finishes on guitars but weirdly I only own two out of thirty or so instruments, a '77 Electra and a refinished '63 Hofner.

Like 'em? I"m obsessed with them. :bow

My Black Friday week special: Charvel San Dimas Ash w/ebony board. Very impressed by this guitar! Plans for new pickups, just for something different...

The guitar I've owned 2nd longest in my entire collection, 1994 Carvin DC127 all koa neck thru with ebony board and Wilkinson, bought new (and very expensive for me at the time!). Upgraded with Duncan Distortion/'59N.

One of my most expensive and rare guitars for sure, 1995 Charvel USA Model I, Koa body, birds eye maple neck and pau ferro board. Has Bare Knuckle Nail Bomb (b) + Cold Sweat (n), push/pull coil tapping, and big brass block.

I even like natural for bass. ESP LTD 5-string with striped ebony TOP and ebony board.

I have another natural ESP bass, although my only existing pics of it died with my last hard drive. :bitch Need to take more....

@lefort_1 's lap steel reminded me of two (of three) that I made, also a natural finish:

I like the contrast between the wood or aluminium and the bright synthetic-looking fretboard, they are clear acylric painted from the back. The top of the kona is finished in Tung Oil, which leaves it very soft, but brings out the grain.

Had this beauty for a number of years. I always like natural finishes. Just couldn't get along with the neck on this one.

Les Paul Swamp Ash with a nice round maple neck and rosewood board. I put in Thornbuckers and a tap system for single coils tones as well. Strat, tele and more.
