[QUOTE="killerburst, post: 27598410, member: 2717" It has his “funk switch” which is pretty unique.[/QUOTE]

Okay, I googled "Suhr funk switch" and came up empty- can you describe what that switch does?

It’s an inductor network, tuned to the pickups it is used with, acting as a filter. Passive.

Here's my Warmoth. Bubinga top on Mahogany body. Neck is Bubinga with an Ebony fingerboard. Pickups and knobs are Cocobolo. Wiped down with Tung Oil in a hasty fashion, played hard for almost 10 years.

Actually... here's a better pic of the pair. Mostly Warmoths... Fender body on the left with an all Pau Ferro Warmoth '59 roundback neck, 22 years I've been playing it. On the right is the Bubinga, mentioned above...

I LOVE natural finishes yet have never really owned one. My first moment of understanding how the entirety of a guitar can resonate was with a PRS Custom 24 with a wicked maple top in a natural finish. I couldn't even think about affording one at the time but I tried it out just to say I did. Amazing instrument. I'd still like to find one someday that brings it like that one but it's not a priority really I guess since I keep getting other colors. :rotflmao

My '77 Les Paul Standard. My Grandpa bought it new and I inherited it when he got Alzheimer's. I prefer burst finishes and usually play my '17 Traditional but this one will never leave my stable.
