I'm looking for a good AC15. I'm considering the Vox handwired one, but I've been hearing some booing over the reliability. Anyone else make a nice one? Reverb would be a plus.

Reliability or tubes? The EF-86's are very finicky ...other than that I gigged
quite a bit with one (no back-up) and it was great.I got more compliments on my guitar sound than with any other amp .I am playing bigger stages these days ..so I am useing an Orange RV-50/4x12..I still love the AC-15HW it's a good one.

What are you hearing about reliability on the HW Voxes? They are built well. For the price you could buy it and have a tech in the know go through it checking for cold solder joints and anything questionable and still be hundreds less than a knock off. And most knock offs don't have the same tone, sans the mega expensive & hard to obtain JMI.

JMI and Gabriel Voxer, but you will pay a princely sum for either.
