I've been looking at "Vintage Sound".. but are there any others worth looking at?

Only high power clones (40+ watts). Not looking for the low watt amps

Roy Blankenship made a few for John Mayer's recent tour, everything he's touched for me has been pure gold!

Tube-Tone is another one.
(other than looking at their website I don't know a thing about them)

You want blackface? I'd go low powered tweed twin by Victoria. But for blackface just get the real deal and take it to a tech. ButdI'd go tweed over blackface anyday...

You didn't specify Blackface or Tweed.
Tweed Twin - Louis Electric
Tweed Pro - Victoria
