I have a Mark I 1x12 Invader 18 watt as of last week. The Celestion Anniversary is making re=think using this speaker with my other Aiken amps. It sure is bright but such a gorgeous sound.

Does the Warehouse Reaper sound better?

    Randall is selling amps again!
A new 18 watt with 6v6's. How do you like it?

He already sold it. I think this should lead to an immediate banning, but that's just me. :D

I've still got my Invader MKII head. It's my second one, and this one isn't going anywhere. Everyone needs an Aiken!

Here's a pic of my Invader on a Swanson 2x12 cab. The bird is an early 63 "no seam" FBIII.

I have the last Invader built...Randall made it a 50 watter. He also sacrificed the attenuator variable sweep control to implement the Intruder's PPIMV, so this amp has both attenuation and MV usable simultaneously. It sounds awesome and I use it every week during band practice. I slam it with an OCD pedal when I need "a little more". Current band is doing late 60's, 70's and seattle 90's rock, and it excels. Prior band was a blues band, and the Invader rolled back so well that my co-guitarist using a fender super was insanely jealous.

    Great amp.

    I own 2 Aiken Invaders. #1 - A 30 Watt Head, that I run through a marshal 4x12 loaded with Scumback 2x M55 and 2xM75 Speakers.
#2 is an 18 Watt Combo Invader. With Celestion Greenback Speaker. I own a Recording Studio, so the 18 Watter gets used a bit more for Recording. The 30 Watt Version is a a Beautifully Loud Beast.

    Thanks Cokeman,

Hard to say, all Aikens sound spectacular, but maybe the Invader 30 is the one. I have been playing lately the Intruder 18 with 6v6 and is also stellar and I love the convenience of the size of the Intruder!

When you need maximum power the Intruder 50 delivers the goods.
