Who puts legit looking hand wear on the back of rosewood board necks?

    I would like to buy a rosewood fingerboard neck to put on a Strat body I have that is pretty worn. I'd like to pick up a neck that has legitimate looking players wear and clay dots.

    Everthing I see on EBAY looks just plain wrong.

    Any ideas on whose doing this work?

    Our own Danocaster does the best back of neck I've seen.
    Of course he does whole guitars but you could ask.

    I do, but it takes about 5-6 years worth of gigs. ;)

    I think relics are the dumbest, lamest idea I've come across in the guitar world. But that freakin' Danocaster... Some of those metalic teles he's put out recently... The pics I've seen... Look real...
