Does anyone know of any bands currently using an FTR37 live? I always see or hear about them in the studio, but have never seen one on a stage.

    really?

    Rusty Anderson - Paul McCartney
    Brad Whitford - Aerosmith
    Lyle Workman - Sting

Rusty and Lyle use other d13 heads too but their mainstays are the 37

Use the 1/2 power switch and it's not bad at all. There was a guy in here a few weeks ago that is on tour with Jewel using them. I forget his exact setup...but it was DB13. Sambora is using them live as well.

Tons of people these days - most of the big money pop/rock bands actually.

They arent too loud in my opinion. I just play in a cover band part time thats just getting it together. We played at a BBQ on the 4th and I used the ftr37......I think its just right! Had the volume on 12-1 oclock on the clean and about 11 on the click.....it was heaven!

I've been using one for quite awhile (Trace Adkins band). I went to see Bon Jovi and saw a couple on stage. Check out the website. I think there's a list of everyone who's playing one.

I think he got the reputation of having amps that are "really loud" from the ert 33......that one made my ears bleed!! But alot of his other amps are really useable and just right IMHO

Right on. That's about where you gotta be to truly appreciate it's magic. I also say it's about right for larger stages/outdoors.

...Def need an attenuator running those volumes most other places the common man plays. But it is possible without if using pedals, guitar volume, and dynamics.

Sambora had a couple. I'm told they are FTR37's.

    Depends on the day.
You didn't see them, but Kravitz and Ross were using some /13s, and I think an FTR was one of them...
