I'd like to get one back in the stable. Perhaps an all mahogany Carolina Custom in TV White with a Bigsby.

Glad you dig that DC. It was the very first sky blue. Terry graciously mixed that color for me from my description. That's a KILLER guitar. :bow:bonk

That inlay is one way that I try to sneak other hobbies of mine into my guitar world, in this case, amatuer astronomy. Here's a pic of my latest telescope build, "SkySpy 10" :

I used to own a Polaris: GREAT rock machine, and very well built!

I just need guitars to have tummy and arm cuts, otherwise it'd have been close to perfection.

That was around 2800-3000 guitars ago for me but... I seem to remember that one. Built 12-13 years ago, a year 2002 model is it???

It's packed for my move, this week, but I believe you are either correct or very close (2001 or 2002?). Just wish it had a thinner neck, and thicker frests, or I'd keep it.

I've been hooked for some years now and have three Royals, a FLE II, and a Terrycaster. No plans to let any of them go. Love what I see about the Spitfire....perhaps when the economy improves.....

That would be correct. I also had ordered the Purple FLE 9 that was cool, but I let it go in a weak moment. I don't plan on letting any of these go.

Anybody got a McInturff Gemini? Show me some pics please. That's the model that I've been (most) interested. Anybody know if TCM still makes Geminis?

Actually, you remembered this guitar perfectly. Been packing up gear, and going through ALL my guitars, and the Taurus was an '02, with one of your larger neck carves.

Well I'll be darned, I do remember that piece. Pretty fat neck, but not too "U" shaped I am guessing (thats a safe guess tho) More like a fat "C" ???
