why am I on such an Ibanez shredder kick?

I just paid for and am awaiting arival of my first Ibanez RG guitar. A fine Japan built Rg470 in a real cool copper finish. Its an HSH setup with typical Ibanez Wizard neck and Ibanez type Floyd. I cant wait and have been going through youtube like crazy watching high end Ibanez guitar videos. After owning mostly Strats, Tele's and a 335, I an totally psyched to get my hands on this.

I was on that kick a couple of months ago but fortunately I got out alive without actually purchasing one. Those Charvels are really nice too ...
