Why do I keep finding previous owner ads for the used gear I buy?

Did 20 people previously own the amp I just bought?

I do a google search to gain general knowledge and the old Reverb listing comes up, the old TGP Emporium post comes up; as well as the Craigslist ad from the guy I bought it from, which is still posted because he forgot to take it down.

Checking the scratch on the face plate ... yep, it's the same.

... and the price slowly lowers, with each ad.

At least it's (probably) not stolen.

I'm not crazy about this amp anyway ... I think I'll throw it up on ebay.

    :D

You need to try it with the requisite 30 speakers to find the right match.

Well, that's the punch line, but in reality, I tend to keep amps a long time ... and unapologetically try many speakers for the right match.

It does ... never mind, just a talk-radio station.

Thanks god it's not an AXEIII - you'd have 3,000 IRs to audition to find a match.

Yeah, but at least you don't have to buy, mount in cab, try, remove from cab, sell and pay $25 for shipping because no one wants it locally ... for EACH one. :D

I used to own that amp and thought it was terrible. I upgraded to a Gorilla.
