Why do you have so MANY Guitars?

2 is perfect for me. I have something to swap but don't have to spend much time playing all of them to keep them all in good shape. If you don't play a guitar for a long time, it gets dull.

I have 7 guitars right now. I must say that after I purchase a guitar I feel all warm and fuzzy inside but after awhile you start to get that burn again. You go to the guitar store and you find that one and only that you just gotta have. I believe its an addiction.......Plain and simple!!!!!!!

I have 7 electrics, 1 bass, 2 acoustics, 1 mandolin. When I was first playing I had cheap guitars of various looks and tonal variety. Now that I've been playing for 18 years I have better guitars but for similar reasons. I scratch an itch, tweak, experiment, etc. then sell. Some become gems I can't sell and others become trade possibilities.

I love the hobby.

I have 8. I just enjoy variety. One day I'll play my Strat. The next day I might be in the mood for my Jazzmaster or Casino. Also, for gigs i need another guitar tuned to Drop C
