Why does this new Lincoln Brewster Strat tempt me so...

Not into his music much, although he is a great player. Not really a worship music guy either. But this new sig guitar is really ticking the boxes for me... its like a 50s original strat with subtle yet VERY attractive tweaks, that I never would have considered.

I consider myself a traditionalist, but locking tuners with a 2 point trem sounds great... very JB strat-like.

Silent dimarzios with BOTH a built in clean boost AND mid boost... hello Clapton strat!

Compound radius 57 shaped neck... for Gilmour flying solos... what?!?!?

It seriously seems like the most versatile strat for "classic" rock and blues tones. I want one.

If I was in the market for something like this, I would get a used EC, unless the trem and pickups were dealbreakers. It sure does do a lot on paper.

That new video with him demoing the guitar with Mark Agnesi's jacket on really shows how great this strat sounds. But he does look like a combo of Scott Stapp and Chandler from Friends...

I generally don’t seek out signature gear...and I do t get the “rock guitar meets worship” music at ALL....but yeah this guitar is a mind blower of specs. Also the heel cutaway, lacquer finish...just on and on.

Agree with the crowd. This seems like a heck of a well though out take on a Stratocaster model. For just a practical guitar, this might be their best signature model in the whole catalog

If you like this, but the $1999 price tag is a bit steep for you, the MIM Deluxe and Roadhouse Strats that have been out for a few years are similar in many ways.

Well I will further describe it for you.

It has a ball-shaped headstock, a round body and weighs 90 pounds. It doubles as a barbell. There is an anime girl painting on the headstock and body similar to the pillows that nerds sleep with. The jack section has a fleshlight insert. It doesn't function as an electric guitar, but it does function as a backup date.

Since I've never even seen a pic of it, I just have to imagine what it looks like.

I am a bit worried about your imagination :omg. But who knows, maybe that’s exactly what the OP was looking at. We may never know...

It looks like a gold strat.

Demos and pics on the internets.

Looks like a great guitar, however I'm in the camp of hoping for other color options. If they release a two color sunburst I'll be packing my credit card as I head to the store.

I forgot the part where it came in a gig bag with a fedora-sized pocket.

Really like the unique circuit tweaks, that thing has some smokin’ tones!

So @KarlH you heading out to get one? C’mon man, be decisive! Do it, Do it, Do it!

Honestly, I love my EC and the only thing I'd think of doing is getting a new neck plate and (carefullycarefullycarefully) sanding the heel down. I do like that smaller heel.

The compound radius is nice, but I'm used to mine and I could switch to Areas at any point.

Wow, that's like the heaviest-sounding strat I've heard this side of Ty Tabor. I'm sure the Dimarzios contribute a lot to that, but otherwise those Fender amps & pedals just sound huge. Impressive.

Ok...............I'm a little confused by the push/pull, and the tone control.

Does engaging the volume push/pull turn on the boost-------which can then be adjusted ( up to 10db ) with the tone control?

So if the boost is not engaged------the tone control has no function, or does it act like a normal tone control for neck/middle? Or.......is the boost the only tone control for the neck/middle?

The psychobilly haircut was a bigger surprise than the guitar ...

Yawn... another Strat that looks and sounds like .... a Strat. It’s remarkable that Fender get away with as many iterations of that model as they do.

General Motors in Oz used to issue a “new” model every year by at least changing the grill and the tail lights.
